Thanks for your comments,I only have one cat but I take many images of her  I do like the oof areas and believe with a bit of practice and control this will be a fun lens to use. It seems sharp enough and I do like the colors it produces. It has plenty of fungus inside so will have to be cleaned eventually.
I was also suprised at how heavy this lens is and it's also very compact compared to my mamiya and pancolar 2/50s.I do like the little lever at the side,but thankfully it has a preset ring at the front so I can do it all manually
