I got a good deal on a brand new XE-1. A really great camera and a perfect addition to my NEX 5n.
After playing around with it I can`t believe that this cam isn`t that common in this community.
Here a a few samples from today, all captured with XE-1 and the good old summicron, which really shines on this amazing camera.
Most of them are jpg ooc, only resized and sharpened a little bit. The last one was shot at ISO 3200!

Timo,
You're right, a perfect combo - Summicron + XE-1. Congrats for the top model also, she poses very relaxed, like a pro - beautiful baby

Congrats on the addition to your (camera) family! It truly is a great camera, and also very cheap now that the X-E2 and X-T1 are out there. For MF lenses, the X-E2 and X-T1 offers little advantage over the X-E1 (since Fuji are so kind and keep updating the firmware for the X-E1), and they basically share the same sensor. The only thing I would like from the X-E2 and X-T1 is the refresh rate on the LCD/EVF, which is a bit low on the X-E1.
And by the way, lovely images of your baby. _________________ Sony A7R and wildly varying flora of lenses |

This morning it was time to try the Summicron-R 90. Even this heavy lens handles very well on the XE-1.
