Made 2 shots lately, with the Sinar F2, Tmax 100 with 120-6x9 roll film back. Dev. was with Agfa Rodinal 1:200, stand, 2hs at 20C.
The lens is a Tominon 4.5/105mm.

This last photo is one of a series I'm studying now - composition, lightning and severasl variations of film dev. to achieve a proper balance between subject and film process, in this case, with TMax 100.
Both pics has a selenium toning, or some sort of, as the toning was done digitally.

They look good. I've tried 1:100 stand but never 1:200. I think I'll try after seeing these! _________________ If you have time, please check out my photography blog from Japan. http://monkeybrainsushi.wordpress.com/ |

+1
WoW! Really exellent results Renato!
Have to try also this R09 / 1:200 / 2h.
Could I ask how you agitate these your 2h developement films?
(my method with R09 / 1h. has been => 1' agitation at start, and then at 20´ and 40' point few more turns). _________________ 500px l ¿ .. ? l Jalbum |

Forenseil, Hemmo,
Thank you!
Hemmo,
I used Agfa Rodinal in these negatives.
Dilution was 1:200,
Agitation: first 1 min. continuous, and the rest just stand until the time end (2Hs).
Other details: first 3min. with pre-soak water at ambient temp, stop bath with acetic acid diluted 3ml/L,
2 consec. fixing baths with intermittent agitation - 5 minutes each. Wash in flowing water 1hr.
15 drops of dish machine post-washing agent per liter, to prevent drying marks - my home formula of Photo-Flo.
Had no bromide drags, neither any unwanted marks.
One think that I noted is that possibly I'll do some ISO adjustment for the next films, using 1/2 or 2/3 higher ISO compared with the box rating, it seems that the contrast curve is somewhat twisted to the right, bringing the film speed some increase but with highlights very detailed,
Cheers,
Renato |
