But we need some lenses to choose from or at least a few more samples
I think lens is quite wide (at least perspective looks like that for me, but size of the subject might be guessed wrong), rather low contrast, comparably many CAs, mediocre sharpness, overall not very crispy.
Could be an elderly wide angle lens for sure, so (without really knowing that lens) Samyang 18-28 would be a very good suspect indeed
So +1 for that lens _________________ I'm not a collector, I'm a tester

I don't know what lens you used. I know it was shot at 1/60 of exposure in AP mode with ISO 100. The camera has set the lens as T -mount or other lens with unknown f-stop and mm at 0. My guess is this lens is old or has limited compatiblity with Sony. |

Mount has nice register distance, allowing it to use on modern DSLR or mirrorless, but for some reason, adapters aren't manufactured widely (if manufactured at all).
I took that photo at midnight, after finishing mount adaptation, more photos will come soon.

The scalloped grip makes me think it's a Nikon, like a 55/3.5 micro.
I guess the last photo is wide open, it's crying out for some contrast.
ISO800 doesn't look that bad at all, there's very little noise really. _________________ Gary

Yes, there's little noise because in-camera NR blurs everything
Photo is wide open, and this is not Nikon lens, not Vivitar and not Samyang This is also not 3rd party/generic branded one. _________________ I have nothing to compensate with lens |

Is the fact that the title of the post has a capital U after the G a clue or a typo? _________________ Hero in the 'messin-with-cameras-for-the-hell-of-it department'. Official. |
