Out of the 260 digital shots taken on holiday in Tenerife, I was able to select a few as keepers. I am still struggling to master the art of manual focus on the Sony A3000, so these are all taken with the 18-55mm kit lens.

The last shot is a classic viewpoint taken by just about everyone who has visited the Rocks of Garcia in the Caldera, but I was totally unable to resist my own version.

Oh, I remember that, have been there a few times. Great place, wonderful silence after the tourists are gone... Very Happy

Great shots!

Lovely photos, it's a great place with strange looking landscapes.
I had a great relaxing holiday there once with a friend.

Thanks for the comments. After three visits, I feel I have "done" Tenerife now. This is and amazing place, but unfortunately, to visit, you have to stay at one of the resorts. Need a new set of apartments? Just lop the top of a mountain off!

Of course NOT, there are plenty of other places to stay aside those "concrete bunkers" in the south Wink
There are plenty of private appartments for instance in La Orotava valley in the anyway nicer north.

We did consider that area but thought it may be more susceptible to rain in early March.
