Just acquired this interesting Russian lens. Having had a good impressions from Helios's and my Jupiter 11A prompted me to bid on it. The -A means it has a T-mount style mount so I could swap off the M42 for the outer section of one of my PK T-mounts.

A relatively slow lens at f5.6, and it has some competition chez moi: Meyer Optik Gorlitz Orestegor 200mm, Tamron 04B, Takumar 200mm f3.5. But my first impressions from todays walkaround snaps suggest it can more than hold its own.

I heard this lens suffer from internal reflection. Did you noticed it? I have the Telemar-22 version, and it has this problem (more visible when you close aperture).

No not at all. I wasn't using a hood either today. It's a 49mm filter size so its not like it has a big front element however.
