I rate the 46A I think it is actually marginally the best of the three Adaptall "consumer" 80-210mm/70-210mm zooms: 03A (early model) 103A (improved model) 46A (last model). While there are certain pros and cons between them overall 46A IMO has the best contrast and least CA.

This is one of a sequence I took with the 46A and the zoomlock. Overall I felt that the 46A held its own re sharpness/resolution but the zoomlock edged things re contrast and was definitely ahead in terms of colours.
