NOW SOLD Nikkor - H, 50mm f2 in excellent condition.
Glass is clean, no oil on iris blades, click-stops still nice and firm. The focusing movement is slightly "easy" which was often a characteristic of this particular lens even when new. As you can just make out in the photo, there's a very small amount of brightening at the edges of the scalloped focusing mount.
This lens replaced the 7-element Nikkor-S and was designed at around the same time that Leitz brought out their first Summicron-R 50mm. It's an excellent lens. Although it pre-dates 'multi-layer coatings' I suspect that it has more than one layer on some elements. By the late 1960s it was by no means uncommon for the top-end makers to be using two coating depositions on elements where there was thought to be a definite benefit in doing so. "Not many people know that "
You can actually hang it on a Pentax K body, although it's probably much safer to use it on a Nikon body or with a proper adapter on a mirrorless camera.
Price £20 plus shipping at actual cost.
