It does look like it would make an eyepiece for something.

I expect useless thing due short focal length, 7 USD not a huge risk to try Smile

For 16mm film format guys, so that would be 10.26mm by 7.49mm format or a 12.7mm diagonal = image size

Not very useful - right?? Not even for Nikon 1 (13.2 x 8.8mm) or such toys...
