I bought a 1934 LEICA II and a IIIa with Elmar many years ago from a Clergyman-- the IIIA was STOLEN in a 'Drive-By Theft' in Thorpe Park, Surrey but I still have the 1934 Leica II with a 1936 50mm f2 SUMMAR uncoated -- here are some samples on different films

1/200th at f 6.3 Ilford FP4+, Shenfield Common Pond -- a 'test' subject for my old cameras

The Summar is undoubtedly the most under-rated and unfairly criticised of all the pre-war 'fast 50s'. Why not give it and the Leica II a 'real treat' and spoil them with a good, fresh colour slide film? And maybe get it scanned when you have it processed . . . Smile

Thanks for viewing -- well, the colour ones are what I scanned from commercially done PRINTS -- the B&W are from neg scans -- when the weather breaks( if ever) I may take you up on that as I do have lots of E6 slide film -- but I could always take flash photos inside using the 'open Flash' techique.
