Hello.

Got it from ebay.

Image quality is surprisingly good in terms of sharpness and absence of CA even at F2.8, considering the fact that there's no multicoating to be seen.

Build quality is also very solid.

It is for M42 mount with pin, which seems to be defunct - moves back and forward freely, doing nothing. Otherwise lens is fine.

As I've read, Lumetar was used by honeywell when importing pentax goods to USA. But who is the maker of this lens?

Could be a lot of makers.
Early 1970's most certainly based on the style.
Reminds me of some lines of YS mount lenses, from the lettering style.
Some suspects -
Sun
Sigma
Sankyo/Sankor

I have the exact same lens with "Super Varexon" name on it.... never tried it!
