One of the fastest Nikkors... a little soft and lacks contrast wide open, but what a razor thin DOF and sweet bokeh Smile !!!

Thanks a lot Attila, I wish it was more contrasty and sharp wide open, like, say Leitz or Zeiss lenses, but still...

don't part with your 105/2.5 , it's a superb lens (if it's an AIS version).

Beautiful.

It is among the best lenses. Mine have cpu and can move 1/3 step on body.
f2.5 ais is also compact and relatively light weight.
