I'm about to attempt to adapt a zeiss/contax 45mm tessar to my sony a33. my question is, would it be simpler to use a m42 to sony adapter, redrilled to match the screw holes on the contax mount, or use a minolta af mount scalped from an old lens. Since the flange register distance is less than a mm diffference, there shouldn't be a problem with infinity focus, right? In fact, it might focus a little beyond infinity. any suggestions?
