Sitting down after a busy day with the LOML enjoying some King Island Camembert and and a glass of red when along came a couple of King Parrots - male and female - to our bird feeder not 10 feet away.
This lens was on the Pentax K-10D so use what you have.
Not much on the web about this lens.
It is beautifully made with silky smooth zoom, focus and aperture.
Here are some images just taken hand held at 1/45sec and wide open @f4.5
Excuse any lack of sharpness because of hand holding of lens and camera (and a couple of glasses of red).

Its a pretty nice lens for its kind. I have one. I still have to sort out the mounting though.

Like most Komuras they dont seem to have sold in large numbers so there isn't going to be much else about them.
Oversize for the specification but it still looks good even on my new 16mp sensor. And the colors are very pleasing. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

Thanks chaps.
Here is the lens - large for what it is, but oh so beautifully made.
MFD is useful at just under 6 feet
