Minimal signs of oil on the blades

I found few minimal signs of oil on the blades (only at 3 or 4 inner edges and only on one side - to the front elements) at my Zeiss Planar 1.4/85.

Should I give the lens to the maintenance for cleaning or is this more a minor "problem" ? Not sure what to do.
Thanks for your advice.

Wink

2 questions:

A: Does the lens stop down as soon as the aperture actuator is moved?

B: Does your camera close the aperture when you take a photo?

If the answer to A is Yes then B is irrelevant.

Ignore the oil. its normal

Yes, there no problem at all. You can see only this few oil looking through the front lens closing the blades.
Thanks.

Then it sounds to be as if you're OK for now. However:

I would go to special pain to protect that lens from heat and warmth. Keep it scrupulously out of the sunshine (e.g., in a closed car), for example. Obviously there already has been a bit of lube separation. You do not want more, and you do not want what already exists to spread further.

Unless the oil actually prevents blades from moving, ignore it.
