I wanted one for a while but I needed to sell something first, I sacrificed my Zeiss 50/1.7 so the Samyang didn't cost me much.
I have some portrait jobs coming up and the Samyang looked the best lens for the job (without breaking the bank). _________________ Gary

You should add "Walimex" to "Rokinon/Vivitar/Polar/Bower/Opteka/Falcon", as it's the most common label in Europe I think
I think I've also even seen it once in "Porst" label on Ebay (it seems to be quite rare in this label though )
It's a nice lens with great price/perfomance!
The Samyang 35/1.4 is not only a hair sharper, especially stopped down to F4 it's actually much sharper but double as expensive.
Samyang anounced the announcement of an 50/1.2 this year . I hope it will have low vignetting on FF
A 135/2 would be also nice
(35/1.4, 85/1.4 slightly but especially 24/1.4 and 14/2.8 all have some noteworthy vignetting when used on FF at wide apertures, up to about 3 stops!) _________________ I'm not a collector, I'm a tester
My camera: Sony A7+Zeiss Sonnar 55/1.8
Current favourite lenses (I have many more):
A few macro-Tominons, Samyang 12/2.8, Noritsu 50.7/9.5, Rodagon 105/5.6 on bellows, Samyang 135/2, Nikon ED 180/2.8, Leitz Elmar-R 250/4, Celestron C8 2000mm F10
Most wanted: Samyang 24/1.4, Samyang 35/1.4, Nikon 200/2 ED
