Age comes to us all.

Strange that Russian lenses keep on going considering what they used as lubricant.

FD lens apertures do get stuck. I've had to send a few for service in recent years. The shame is that many are so cheap it's no longer worthwhile spending the money to repair them.

Regarding Tokina: i've discovered (and ruined lens this way) that when using Isopropanol to clean some lenses it's exactly that substance is directly responsible for causing separation.

Never drench your lenses, just moisten your tissue/PecPad with your cleaning fluid.
Sorry to hear about the lenses.

Common problems for old lenses, although there are brand related differences.
I've had relatively many issues with old Canon lenses, and even more so with old Sigma's.
