Tried to search the site (was getting 404 error) and tried to search the web (and did not find a satisfactory answer) for something that looks like a simple question...

Once a micro fiber has been used and does not seem to deliver the same performance at removing dirt, dust, figerprints, etc. what do you do, what is the trick to clean it an get it as close as it was once out of the pack?
Question

Mine go in the washing machine with the rest of the washing. But I do rotate my microfibre cloths, I keep a new one strictly for glass and the old one then goes for general cleaning. I just write on the old one with a Sharpie 'not for glass'. Once that one is worn out it goes in my truck for wiping the windows.

to clean glass I always use new one, I need to clean glass usually right after purchase, due I store my lenses in big plastic boxes in dust free environment rarely need to clean again.

This would appear a little anal but Attila is Attila.

Get a microfibre lens cloth. I have Pentax one which I bought in the late 80's. A quick wash with the laundry moves any crap. Its done me for over 25 years!
