I thought it might be fun to try pictorialism. So I picked up a half-sphere cabochon from a local plastics shop. It's 50mm wide with a 75mm focal distance. Aimed properly, this is about as good as it gets. Spurred on by this somewhat-success, I picked up a few lenses from Surplus Shed (meniscus, plano convex, and one other) to try some shots with better optics. I haven't tested those yet.
