I was given a 1996 Pentax MZ-5 with two auto-focus lenses the SMC Pentax FA 28-70mm f4 and the SMC Pentax F 100-300mm f4.5-5.6which does NOT always 'auto-focus' or 'zoom' , sticking at 300mm -- it is also a very heavy lens ! Sometimes I can wiggle the mount and the 'zoom' clicks and works throughout the range OK -- it is not worth spending money on it my Wife says .
