Just beginning to really play with this beast. Easily the sharpest 300mm lens I have ever owned. Some samples and 100% crops, all wide open at f/2.8 on a 6D, SOOC.

Which adapter are you using? I also have this lense and the 6D but found the adapter I bought wasn't that great.

I made my own "adapter" which uses the left-thread for the breech lock ring. CNC milled it out of a T2-EOS adapter (with a lot of help from the experts in charge of the machine shop too ...) It's semi-descructive because I had to file off some parts that were jutting out of the back of the lens mount (aperture tab, etc.) but I don't intend to use it on FD, I don't own any FD bodies.

Anyway, this homemade adapter got me *almost* to infinity focus (EdMika adapter didn't get close enough, but it gets close enough for portraits). I then adjusted the infinity focus screws a bit and got infinity focus without a problem.
