Hi Folks,

Any idea if this is possible using the leitax lens mount for a Yashica lens?

Cheaper version here:

I think the MM lens mount is different to Yashica mount. But could it be adapted? How about conversion directly into EOS?

BTW- the reason I am asking this is because the lens I bought has been modified by the previous owner and there is no longer any lens mount on the lens Shocked as it was grind down to fit into a bellow. So it can't be used for anything at the moment which is a pity.

THx.

It is quite possible. I converted ML 50/1.4 to Nikon F mount using M42->F adapter (1mm thick),
but Nikon camera's mirror may (more like definitely) hit the rear of the lens. So I did not perfectly
aligned the lens to infinity focusable on Nikon dSLRs.

Unlike Contax/Yashica lenses, ML lenses have deeper rear end. So you have to be careful to adapt
those flange replacements.

Thank you Koji. Surprised

At least this way I can use it with my NEX or Fuji X!
I probably won't risk it with my Fuji S3 Pro or D2H though
