I have just got an old Retinette 1B camera with a Rodenstock Reomar 45mm f/2.8 coated lens on it and I think of adapting the lens to my Nex.
I know virtually nothing about this lens and any information is welcome.
Is it a nice lens?
Is it worth the effort of adapting it to a digital camera?
Can you show some samples of how it renders on digital?
Thanks in advance!

First, are you sure that your lens is the Rodenstock Reomar and not the Schneider Reomar?

Both are 3/3 lenses.

So, of both can be applie the general rules. Lenses with rendering very soft wide open and perhaps at F/4 too.

The IQ closing the aperture is better.

At F/8 nice center and still soft at extreme borders

Better rendering, at F/11 and F/16.

My 2 cents.
