only rumor for the moment
http://nikonrumors.com/2013/10/20/breaking-new-nikon-full-frame-hybrid-mirrorless-camera-coming-soon.aspx/

-Standard F-mount
-Pentaprism viewfinder (meaning the camera will not be mirrorless)
-The camera will meter even with non-AI lenses down to full aperture
-The camera will ship with a new special edition Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G lens to match the look/design of the body
-The camera will have physical controls and excellent build quality (which explains the 765g weight)
-Expeed 3 processor
-Same sensor as in the Nikon D4
-Nikon calls it a "hybrid" camera - not sure what exactly they mean with that
-The announcement most likely will take place in the next 1-3 weeks ! ...we'll see Smile

With all due respect, if something is a rumour, should it not be posted somewhere other than 'Official News and Announcements'?

Just wondering, since Orio mentioned last week that we should take more care to post in the appropriate sections. Smile

"A photographer stands alone in a bleak landscape. Something has been missing in his creative life. Will he find it here?

Nikon presents a series of short movies depicting a photographer roaming through Scotland with a camera as his only companion. Discover how he reunites with his creative side on his journey of self-discovery."

haha, love it!

It's quite a deception. Sad
Such a price for a 16 MPixels.

DPReview says :
In the UK, the Df is available only as a kit with the 50mm lens, at a suggested price of £2749.99 (~$4400) - only £50 less than the recommended price of the 36MP D800 and revamped 50mm F1.8. Unlike the US figure, this includes 20% VAT but still: ouch.

At the same time, Sony A7 and A7r enter the FF competition...
