im thinking about a 6x7 camera largely to yield prints vs digitaizing. i cant figure out what size print an outside company would make from the negative. obviously not regular like 4x6, 5x7 or 8x10, so is there a 'standard' sized print for 6x7 negative? could 6x7 users recommend outside companies that develope and print 6x7 in the US?
thanks!
tony

Zebra Color

CSW Film Systems,

I normally enlarge my 6x7 negatives to 4x5 using a Kodak #4 Brownie Enlarging Camera. I can get 2 pictures on a single 8x10 sheet. Other times I will just make contact prints if I need to get more shots on a single sheet.

thanks so much. so on looking at your sites, 'standard' 6x7 prints seem to be 4x5 when done by an outside developer, correct? that means they make a pretty much perfect 8x10 as well.

thanks again, much appreciated.

so let me ask this: i am most interested in standard 5x7 prints, and a little interested in 5x5 stamdard prints. am i correct that 6x7 format would most easily be cropped into either sized print than any other medium format size?

Should work just fine. 6x7 is very flexible with cropping.
