Thanks guys,
The wall behind is a gold colored stamped tin so everything in the room has that goldish cast to it, like having a gold reflector.

I'm going to do some portraits in there next weekend.

Nice one, there is only one ingredient in beer which in no vegetarian. Isinglass it is made from the swim bladders of fish it is used to settle the yeat to the bottom and is only used in real ale to my knowledge. Lagers are normally filtered to remove yeast and pasteurised.

Hi Jules,

Very sharp and clean picture!. Which camera/lens did you use?.
The colours are superb, the fine details in the hands and the arms are great!.
Nice shot.

Interesting! I am a vege and pretty much avoid ales naturally. Thanks for that info. I'm afraid that since I've been visiting London I've become addicted to English beers.
I have relatives in London and try to visit at least once a year. Are you near London?

Thank you very much Jes.

I am using a 30D and on this shot a Mamiya 135 medium format lens. I use several Mamiya medium format lenses, an 80mm, a 150 and the 135 as the sharpness is frankly better than expensive Canon glass.

I got the Mamiya>EOS adapter from eBay and put a chip on it so now I can use the same lenses for my 645AFD and the EOS. Ha Ha!

The Isinglass is a clarifying agent and although it is in the barrel it is attached to the yeast cell and sits at the bottom of the barrel not in the product you are drinking. But yes, fish died to make the beer. Yeast could be considered a living organism too. In which case no bread OR beer Crying or Very sad

I am about 150miles North I used to live in London, (where I brewed beer for a living) I have no great desire to return. Where do you relatives live?

My daughter lives in the Muswell Hill area. We spent time between there and Wales. (Hay on Wye)
