This is my first Soligor without internal fogging on the lenses. It's a heavy all metal barrel and both focus & internal zoom feels smooth.
Better than expected and actually quite usable. M42 mount.

Around 135mm.

Odd Internal reflections in the flare at some focal lengths. (Trees with sun behind) (crop)

Eos 40D, raw, custom white balance.

I like the picture with the internal reflections, the picture 'works' despite the reflections, they might even add to the picture? It's a great composition, and not an easy one.
The Soligor looks good. Maybe I'm biased because I like Soligors? But I will also say that some Soligors are crap. I don't think yours is.

Post a picture of the lens, I'd like to see it.

the last picture has quite an interesting bokeh. Maybe the same effect than the internal reflection above.

I can't see any reflections in the bokeh after a closer look, it only appears in flares somewhere in the middle of the zoom range.

I think it's kind of interesting, no other lens I have does that. Might be good for video too with the smooth operation.

You wanted pics, here you go!

Here you can see how big it is compared to its buddies. And tis beast weighs almost a kilo, 960g to be exact.

your lens is very similar in appearance to a 135 / 2.8 that I've got, which is one of the first manual focus lenses that I got and one that to this day I still rate highly. Soligor are still rated as being well down the ranking of lens retailers, and they did sell some poor quality lenses. But the good ones can be very good.
