Today we have nice weather here, so I went to the local forest to take some photos. I used my Trioplan - what a great lens for "spring shots"! I really like its softness and odd bokeh - but it's only my (very) subjective opinion Smile
All photos taken at F/2.8:

Great shots, Hubert, got to love the bokeh! Smile Your thread reminded me
to try this lens today on some flowers. Overcast and in between rainy
periods:

EDIT: Too many pics, but this one was reworked with correct white balance and no cropping.

Shot at f8 with largest Zeiss extension tube. Still waiting for other and
interesting flowers to bloom.

@ Hubert & Bill:

Great images guys. Cool

@ Bill: Going by these, you're more of a macro/close-up master than you probably think.... Wink

Yes, it shows - I started out shooting flowers myself - I even took pictures of them as well.... Wink

Thanks, Poilu, with the extension tube, I guess it changes the lens'
personality somewhat, but if focused correctly, they can be quite
sharp.

@Bob, Laughing
We are about 2 weeks behind from last year when it comes to spring
blooms, too many cold snaps!

Hubert, these are just so NICE with that swirly bokeh. I particularly love the second image of the Forsythia, for its simplicity and beautiful highlights. That would be a superb enlargement, I think. GREAT work Hubert.

I agree with Larry, and Hubert, my apologies for hijacking your thread.
I should've gone ahead with the idea of opening a thread for all Trioplan
owners to post their pics, rather than tacking my work on the end of
yours. Once again, my apology.

Bill - no problem Smile Beautiful shots! They have different character than my photos (with more neutral, creamy bokeh).
Now I have to go to the bus stop and then to the university, I have no time to read carefully all posts... Sad A next busy day is beginning!
