Hello,
I had a photo shooting today in a pet shop. A seller fed a mantis with a small grasshopper. I have used my Revuenon 55/1,4; F16, extension tube 10mm, external flash, free hand Olympus E-330.
It was difficult to accurately focus becauce small sharp area.
This is a ghost mantis, approx. 6cm small and very hungry. It disguises itself as a dry leaf and lives in Africa. It is amazing what nature has created. I hope that you does not dreams at night of it.
