...the village of Abitanti, was abandoned for a number of years, a ghost village. In recent years it been slowly repopulated, a populatinon of 12 and rebuild.

Difficult, contrasty light, lenses where a Vivitar 17/3.5, Nikkor 24/2.8 and only one with a Nikkor S C 50/1.4.

I like the colours. Typical Nikon look ? I'm not sure there is such a thing but some believe in it. Which RAW converter/Editor did you use ?

Excellent work Tomas, I particularly like your use of shadows, especially those from the trees.

Thank you pepes, Attila. It s the right period of the year for such colors of the sky and the greens, i ll try to go back, when the autumn colors arrive. It s a very interesting place to visit and photograph indeed.

Thank you. I used Capture NX2, my only editor...RAW, in camera setting was landscape, i corrected the WB in post though (warming it a bit), it s the same for all the pictures.

Thank you Ian. Yes....since there was no way to avoid them, with the sun already a bit low on the sky, i tried to make them part of the pictures, like in #9. I even tried to include the shadow of a house behind me in one, #6.
