From 1300-1800 (roughly) Rovigno was an important town ruled by the Republic of Venice , as the whole western littloral of Istria
Pay attention at the campanilla ,wich has the same shape as the one in Venice . That's why the look of the town is italian ... there are 500 years of history there .
Very nice images , Lena. Reminds me of my visit in Piran and Koper this summer some 50 km in the north I think. The marina shot ressembles much with those from Piran marina . I like also the one in the basilica from Porec . Nice series . A very photogenic side of Europe. And a very interesting and blended history ...
PS what camera/lens ? _________________ Cheers , Teo
