If it didn't say made in Japan I'd have said Samyang. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

I have a very similar one thats "Made in Korea".
Very compact for a 200/3.5 btw.
Not so great wide open but usable. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

I have exactly the same model with the Fodor-brand and 'Lens made in Japan' printed on the barrel.
I agree with luisalegria, it's a nice compact design but not a special performer. _________________

I had one too, someone had messed with it so the aperture didn't work and something rattled inside, it was made in Korea too, hence why I said it looks like a Samyang. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

An interesting lens. Haven't used it in a long time. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

Hi Olivier,
I really don't know.
In my article on a similar korean lens I guessed maybe Nittoh/Komine/Kominar because of a resemblance with some of these I noticed some years ago but I no longer have the reference pictures of that Kominar. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |
