Hello !
Some samples from my Fuji X-E1, with a cheapo Prinzgalaxy 400mm f/6.3 in M42 found on ebay just before the airshow for 30 euros. I was surprised by the results. Of course it's not excellent but for the price, that's quite cool.
All pictures taken at f/8 or f/11, some have been cropped and contrast adjusted but no sharpening.

Super photos. Well caught with the Prinz Galaxy.
I have a 300mm its ok but could be better. I'm going to try one of my 200's with a 2x TC and see if thats better. _________________ Hero in the 'messin-with-cameras-for-the-hell-of-it department'. Official. |

Well I can't persuade the forum to say anything nice about the Galaxy 135mm f3.5 preset, 15 blades But IMO the lens is sharp enough if you are not into pixel peeping. Those are difficult shots to get - with any lens. I've had no joy at all from any Prinz Galaxy lenses, but your shots are very good. _________________ LENSES & CAMERAS FOR SALE.....

I agree with that. It is hard. I'd be tempted to shoot wide and crop later. _________________ Hero in the 'messin-with-cameras-for-the-hell-of-it department'. Official. |

Thank you guys !
The close-up shots were cropped ! Even if I had a seat in the grand stand I couldn't take shots like that with a 400mm.
Anyway it was very fun to use, I built a custom hood with cardboard, the thing was probably 70 centimeters long and the pros with crazy 300 and 400L lenses were looking at me with some smiles
I will upload more shots later. |

Here are a few more shots, after processing; white balance adjustments, reducing noise, and a bit of sharpening. Definitely a great investment for 30 euros !

Great shots with that lens! I like the idea that you had to reduce the noise on a photo of a jet doing a vertical afterburner climb. _________________ Lots of 35mm Film Cameras

Hehe !! The weather was not very good, I adjusted contrast but the sky was darker. I had to push the ISO. The lens is pretty bad wide open but is better at f/8, probably this one was shot at f/11. |
