which zoom?

Which is the zoom to go for, between

1- konica 70-150/4 sold mine but can afford another one.

2- minolta 75-200/4,5 MD

3- canon 75-200/4,5 FD

Since you have a Canon FD lens listed, can I assume that this is for a mirrorless camera, like a NEX for example?

And regarding your Canon FD choice. The 75-200/4.5 is a late FD lens with more plastic than the older 70-210/4. I've owned both, and I much prefer the 70-210 over the later one. Canon also made an 80-200mm f/4 2-ring zoom in both breechlock and new FD mount. Its new price was always considerably higher than the 70-210, I think because it was considered to be more of a "professional" model. Then there's the Canon 80-200mm f/4 L push-pull zoom, which is rated outstanding. But it doesn't come cheap, even these days.

I don't have any experience with either the Konica or Minolta. I do have experience with a few others in this range: the Nikkor 80-200/4.5 and the later 80-200/4 are both great zooms. So is the Tamron SP 70-210/3.5, but it is somewhat hard to find. Tamron's 80-210/3.8-4 is also quite good.

It' s to my daughter use. She does not like to change between prime lenses, as i do.

I'm waiting a minolta 35/70-3,5 for her. And need any in the range of the question.

in this case 70-150 usually significantly smaller, lighter I vote for Konica.

if you can go to 210, then my vote would be for the Vivitar Series 1 70-210 - the Kiron version. It's cheap and in most mounts, I love mine ( both of them )

I vote for the Konica 4/70-150, it's not too large and heavy and is close to a good 135 prime in performance imho, certainly one of the very best zooms I've tried.

Perhaps it's the best option. I know this lens. Recently bought it and sold almost inmediately, two days after the purchase.

And yes, you are right, as Attila said too, is a grest lens.
