Today I picked up the subject lens which will not be here for a week (at least).
Seeking your opinion:
Does this lens have a YS mount?:
Click here to see on Ebay
I can use it as is but, if the mount is YS, that would be sweet.
Sorry link is not direct but, as always with a completed auction, eBay forces you to click on "See original listing" in order actually to view the auction properly, with photos. |

It looks like a Sigma YS mount lens - probably the quality is excellent. |

I just went to the vault and grabbed a Konica YS mount to compare with the photos in the auction. My guess is, "Yes, it is". _________________ In Search Of "R" Serial Soligors

Thanks, guys!! I really appreciate the responses.
Fingers are crossed but things looking good!
24mm lenses, in general, are a tough get at affordable prices these days. This is only my second (other is a Viv T4 mount). |

Thanks!
Act in haste. Repent at leisure.
I already had seen that thread but I was moving so fast I did not scroll down to view the 2.8. Seeing only the 2.5 I assumed (wrongly) the thread was not about my lens!!
Not that I would mind at all owning the 2.5!
Does not appear a likelihood, though.
Regardless, I am very pleased to have bought a 24 with a YS. That is a sweet outcome. |
