Cycled a few hundred km in the highlands of Myanmar with a Sonnar 2.8/135, Planar 1.4/50, Distagon 4/18 on a 60D.

A great trip and one of many places on our must see bucket list.
Hope I live long enough to complete it.
The silhouette is stunning

Those travel shots are as good as any I have seen. #1 would make a great picture for the wall.

Thanks guys! More from this same trip at http://www.flickr.com/photos/dheeranet/sets/72157634736254886/
Again all shot with the same 3 lenses ( 2.8/135, 1.4/50, 4/18 ), I think it's easy to differentiate which is which Wink

For some of the B&W wide shots (such as the one with the birds and clock tower above) i found it useful to put a crappy red filter in front of my nice lens. This gave me a tack sharp underlying image but with some nice glow to it (see the way the contrasty edges in the image) because of the crappy filter. I don't know, I kind of like that soft effect for architectural shots.

The sunset picture is really stunning!! Probably will see a lot more of these Myanmar picks on Flickr since the country is opening up.

First in gets first dibs!
