Hasselblad lens question?

Hi folks,

I’m a pretty strong fan of Mamiya medium format lenses adapted to my EOS bodies (Film and digital). I can swap them between my 645 AFD and 30D (and EOS film cameras) in a few seconds.

I recently heard about the Hasselblad>Mamiya adapter and bought one. Today I tried it at a local camera shop that has a few Hassy lenses for sale. It worked perfectly sooo I’m requesting some sage advice about Hassy lenses.

(The adapter uses all the 500-2000 etc older Hassy lenses)

I want to get three (over time), a WA, a 50ish mm, and a 250. Of course price counts, I see them on ebay for between 200 and about 900 USD.

Any recommendations?

(I know nothing about Hasselblad lenses) except they will cover a 6x6 and they are good.

Thanks

Jules

Sorry- they've always been out of my price range, but I've not heard bad things about any of them.

Many Hasselblad lenses Made by Carl Zeiss or all ! I am not sure. Carl Zeiss means you can get the highest quality, if you have money to finance no doubt Hasselblad is perfect choice.

lulalake, this is an interesting topic, can you expand on it a little to cover what adapters you use, compatible/incompatible lenses, image quality, all around handling etc.?
I'm not looking for an essay Shocked but just a few tips and pointers.
