A friend of mine was shooting products made of jute. At his invitation, I spent awhile with him. I tried my hand and it certainly takes more than gear. I made a thorough fool of myself....
Some shots.
All in all, it was fun shooting a pretty girl. _________________ Arijit |

very nice shots, great model! #1+2+7 is especially great for the product, the others
accentuate more the (pretty) model than the product _________________ Klaus - Admin

Nice pics, my favourite is #7. As a product shot, #2 looks like the girl is afraid of the bag, if you don´t mind. _________________ Markku

Klaus, Renato, Markku,
Thanks gentlemen. Yes in some shots I was looking at the model more. But since there was a pro to do the 'real' stuff, I thought I'd try to enjoy.
As I said, it is a demanding genre and will need loads of practice.
Thanks again for the very correct and incisive inputs and observations.

Excellent series Ariban. The second one to me has this amazing subject separation, it may not have the best expression but is my favorite! Apologies for a stupid question, but was this a Samyang 85/1.4? _________________ http://www.flickr.com/photos/58547200@N00/ |
