Since the bird life seems to be active, I have kept the Jupiter on the K-01 and have hoped for some more opportunity to snap the different birds as they come around the house....This little fellow is very friendly...I feed him/her scraps when it calls me.There's slight movement from the bird and I have done a very tiny amount of PP.I am still struggling to find the sweet spot for the focus peaking when using this lens on a subject far away.

Not bad at all Mo, this sort of shooting is difficult, I have never been any good at it, so well done, and keep practising, makes perfect! Smile

Quite good Moira. If the juvenile is about, then the parents won't be far away.
I think you will have more opportunities for shooting this family.
Thanks for sharing

Thanks,These are the sort of photographs that I like taking so I will get plenty of practice using the LCD and focus peaking. This magpie is quite tame and should stick around.I hope to be able to "practice" on it. Wink His parents are always watching when he/she gets feed they come in for theirs.

Was wondering what aperture were these? Stop down a bit and see what happens. Even with peaking it should be much easier to shoot.

Nice shots of a good looking kid.
