Cheers Jussi, yours performs as I would expect - soft and glowy wide open but sharp stopped down. That's typical of a triplet, they have curvature of field and uncorrected spherical aberration at full aperture, but stop them down and they are excellent. People used them as both portrait and general purpose lenses, making use of the soft glowy look at full aperture for portraits and stopping them down for general work.
Look forward to seeing some film shots. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |
