I plan to do a Black and White Wedding Photography blog post showing how film photography still has a place today with a few more examples.

See here for why I like film photography - http://www.matthewosbornephotography.co.uk/Film-Photography.html and here for more on wedding photography - http://www.matthewosbornephotography.co.uk/Wedding-Photographer.html

The Contax 645 is a great camera for wedding photography as it is almost like shooting a DSLR it's so easy. (Obviously your need to change your film etc!). For when I have more time at a wedding I like to use a Mamiya RZ67 Pro II. The 6x7 negatives create breathtaking images. (As you can see i'm not in it to make money but for the love of good photos!). 6x7 only gives you 10 shots per 120 roll of film vs. 16 shots on the Contax or 36exp on 35mm (such as my Voigtlander Bessa R3A or Nikon FM).

I tend to shoot Kodak T-Max 100 or 400. 100 is good for 35mm but for the large medium format negatives you can easily use 400 speed film without visible increase in grain.

I love black and white photography so much I now offer B&W wedding photography package so get to shoot 100% B&W on the day.

More new samples soon once scanned! Smile
