Can't speak for Nikon, but on the Canon side some adapters are "chipped" and communicate with the body, which allows the AF point to light up when in focus. The AF light isn't perfect though, especially when shooting with big apertures or long focal lengths. _________________ I welcome C&C, editing my pics and reposting them on the forum is fine.
