My local church ran a 'car boot' sale recently and I went along early to see what was on offer. One lady had just set up her stall and was selling this Sony Mavica MVC-FD200 digital camera c/w everything as it was when new. When I looked inside the box this is what I found. It even has the original label still attached. She told me it only worked for a short time and then died. All she wanted was £5. I bought a new battery for £8 on the net and it now works perfectly! Very Happy

I saw this camera in 1999 , I had Sony Mini DV camera, it was several monthes salary and I couldn't afford this camera as additional item Smile
I did work in India, it would be a nice tool as well. Nice to see how good looking your item, congrats! As I remember wasn't bad at all, can you publish some pictures taken with this camera ? Outdoor, indoor ?

fantastic. A real history maker for a fiver. Well worth the cost of the battery. It looks new.

My dentist has the same camera (for use in his surgery) and has been using it since he qualified fifteen years ago. It was a graduation present from his parents. He told me he likes it simply because it works and does the job. The image size is perfect for his computer records and transfers easily from his floppy disk. All his computer setup was new in 1999 and has upgraded several times. But he insists on a floppy drive in his PC. He uses a Canon DSLR for his hobby and can't see why he would need it in the surgery when the mavica does the job.

It will be nice to see how it performs.
