Hmmm... I've joined, but I have no idea how to add a picture to a group. Nothing is obvious. Any hints?

Yes, pretty crap , look organize in your menu , groups will come and you can drag and drop pics.

Thanks for the mention here Attila. I started the group a day or two ago as there didn't seem to be a Manual Focus Lens group there already, like the excellent one on flickr. So it is early days and there are very few members and not many pictures at the moment, I hope that will change, I will try to be active and invite people into the group and encourage activity.

Ipernity is similar to flickr in a lot of respects, in some it's better than the old flickr, which sadly seems to get worse as they implement the drastic changes. Hopefully Ipernity will realise that the large amount of people joining from flickr have joined because they are photographers looking for somewhere to share their images. It's a smaller market than the Instagram market for sure, but still significant. I think Ipernity have the photographer as their main market, and they seem keen to keep it that way.

To add images to an Ipernity group, obviously join the group - then at the top of your page click on 'ORGANIZE' and a tabbed page appears, click on 'GROUPS' and all your groups appear on that page, at the bottom of the page there is a scrollable stream of your images that you can drag and drop individually into each relevant group.
I think it's actually quicker and easier than flickr to load pictures into multiple groups.

There is also a feature to load written articles into your stream, which I haven't tried yet but looks very useful.

I hope some more of you come and share your images taken with the old manual focus lenses we love so much.
Very Happy

Yes, that's the line of 135's. You can never have too many. Laughing
