Very nice spot, I also like the composition, but I can imagine that a slightly lower point of view would have been even better: the cross collides a little with the far side of the lake, I would have tried to move the camera to shift the barn a little further down and right into the "V" shape, which would make the cross more prominent.

Wouldn't it have worked as a regular B&W shot? I find the strange tones a little puzzling.
