Ok I don't know how you did it, but I was preparing to show my 28mm 3.5 lens shots. Lucky I looked before we had two of the same threads. I really like this lens.

Your shots are really great also.

I also have the 24mm lens, but it has water damage and I'm not sure on how to fix it yet. I believe my pictures could have been a bit better if I wasn't shooting on a Nikon.

Nikonshooter, are you using an adapter with an optical element in it? I didn't think that Nikons could use M42 lenses without one. Also, is your 28mm f3.5 a Super Takumar or S-M-C Takumar? Thx.

The adapter that I'm using does have a glass element in it. It's a Bower adapter which is the best one I tried so far and won't switch. I threw the other 4 away. I love it so much that I purchased more than one. You can use it without the glass, but you won't get infinity focus which I was using here. It is the SMC version.

I have an early Super-Tak version and an S-M-C version, very different lenses, the early has a nice vintage feel to it with some of the nicest flare out of all my lenses, the S-M-C version has a much more modern rendering, sharper with more contrast.
My early version:
