A box full of surprises

Every now and then, I like to buy 'surprise' boxes with camera stuff.
In this case, I knew among the camera stuff there was a RMC Tokina 17mm f/3.5, so I decided that an offer of 60€ could never be too bad for me. Today the box arrived.....so what's inside?

First of all, a lot of rubbish like color filters, an old flash, some camera bodies etc. But also some more interesting items like:
- Tokina 17mm f/3.5 in M42 mount
- A very early version of the Takumar 135/3.5. Never seen this one IRL before, looks cool!
- A Super-Takumar 135/3.5
- Sigma Mini Wide 28mm
- Super-Takumar 55mm f/1.8
- Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 50mm f/2.0

Also a Sigma 100-200 f/4.5 (with a not working aperture). Somehow, I hardly ever receive old Sigma lenses that are still working properly. Usually there is haze, or the aperture is stuck or the mechanics are stiff.

And also a huge Accura Ultratel 400mm f/5.9 telelens, with a lot of aperture blades. Anybody familiar with this lens?

I just love the way the takumars 135/3.5 are built, and they are so compact!

I like Takumars, and the Super-Takumar 55mm f/1.8 is just about my favourite. I think you'll enjoy that lens. Wink

The Tokina 17mm is worth 200 euros on it's own so well done!

I have seen that 400/5.9 lens before as a tele-tokina I believe.
Accura was a distribution brand owned by Fred Spira, which he used for selling to retailers, keeping Spiratone for direct sales.

Haha! I do exactly the same! And just last week i got that Sigma 100-200 as well, looks like new, even the box and all other accessories there. But: haze inside.... the middle element is foggy, and i cannot get it clean..... my guess is it's a glued piece and the haze is in between..... sad, i'd like to try it.

I have it all the time with sigma lenses (especially the zooms I guess). They just don't seem to survive (at least in our climate).
