Father gave me this :

Tripod Neck from Carl Zeiss Jena
Genuine leather and aluminum alloy, adjustable height and angle
Probable year of production is 1966 - 1968 ?

Does anyone know more details?

Next time I test with DSLR Canon and long times condition

H'mm the idea doesn't seem to have caught on, as I've never seen anyone use it (well except you).

For Stabilisation as monopod or tripod. Maybe it sounds ridiculous but I test it

Cool stuff, first one what I seen , I have one Pentacon made a bit better looking one, more slim more elegant.
