It's funny how these old ladies get so competitive every time a new camera shows up Laughing

Nice results, HP5 comes out much less good than this with more grain in my hands.

First one has impressive IQ, funnily enough I was reading about the Medallist last night and it's secret is the film flatness. The design was an exercise in achieving the maximum in film flatness and that is a large part of why it has that over-engineered diecast alloy body which gives it such rigidity. The film flatness means the Ektar 100mm is utilised to it's full potential and it's a great lens. The same lens on a folder would not produce equal results. The film flatness and accurate rangefinder really do allow the Medallist to get the best from it's lens.
