went out to a local street fair recently and took my gxr m mount and 60 year old leica summarit 50/1.5. wanting to be discreet, i mostly set the lens to f8 and zone focused. i really enjoy using this lens, very smooth and has unique rendering. c&c encouraged. enjoy.

thanks to you both! yes it is a small town in the hudson valley ny called beacon.

ive never really shot this lens extensively at f8 because i think its optimized for around f4. i like to shoot portraits with it around 2.8 and 'scenes' at f4-5.6. but the older lenses somehow seem to hold optimization longer, or perhaps better said they dont dteriorate as fast, as modern lenses. and here i really wanted deeper DOF for discreet focusing purposes. it did much better than i anticipated...
